FEATURING

Kelley Robinson, New President of HRC & the HRC Foundation

Kelley Robinson is the ninth president of the Human Rights Campaign — the first Black, Queer woman to lead the organization. The Human Rights Campaign is America’s largest civil rights organization working to achieve equality and liberation for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people. Robinson — widely respected for her work over the last 15 years creating and leading winning campaigns and programs — steps into her new role at HRC after serving as Executive Director of Planned Parenthood Action Fund. From community organizer to progressive leader, Robinson has been at the forefront in the fight for bodily autonomy and racial and gender equity, with a focus on lifting up marginalized communities and building political power. Robinson will lead HRC — and its more than 3 million member advocates — as the organization fulfills its mission to realize a world that achieves fundamental fairness and equality for all.

Policy on Covid-19 Vaccine Requirements to attend in-person indoor events produced by the Human Rights Campaign:

The Human Rights Campaign and Human Rights Campaign Foundation require all guests attending in-person indoor events produced by the organization to be up to date on vaccinations. The CDC defines being up to date on vaccination as:

● completing the 2 dose primary series for Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or

● the single dose Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine

And

● at least 1 booster shot, such as Pfizer or Moderna

Proof of full vaccination, by showing a vaccine card, clear photo of the card or vaccine passport app will be accepted, and will be required for entrance to any HRC event, along with a picture ID. Those who are not fully vaccinated will not be admitted to HRC events.

Additionally, HRC encourages attendees to wear masks when not eating or drinking or when six feet of social distance cannot be maintained.

As the Covid-19 public health emergency is an ever-evolving situation, HRC reserves the right to add, adjust and institute further attendance requirements as deemed necessary right up until the event begins. HRC will communicate any material changes to our policy, as we continue to monitor the CDC, state and local guidelines.

By attending the event, you acknowledge that HRC expects all participants at HRC events to comply with CDC, state and local COVID-related guidelines, rules and requirements, which continue to evolve, that you are attending at your own risk and that you release HRC, its officers, directors, agents, employees and assigns from any liability related to COVID-19 which might occur as a result of your attendance.

If you have questions regarding this, please contact membership@hrc.org ahead of the event.
